FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How long does permanent makeup last?

This varies with each individual person depending on skin type and client tolerance during the procedure. Client’s daily exposure to sun may also effect the longevity of permanent makeup. It is expected to last from 2-4 years. It is recommended to touch up every year to keep your makeup looking fresh. However, if done properly, eyeliner and eyelids will last more than 4 years.
Does permanent makeup hurt?

There is usually minimal discomfort. We use topical anesthetics (microcaine and lidocaine) to reduce pain and promote relaxation.
Is there a chance of infection?

Safety is my priority. At all times, we adhere to the strictest sterilization procedures. We use only new sterilized disposable needles that are opened in front of each client.
What is the recovery process like?

There will be slight swelling and redness in the skin, which will subside quickly. You may resume normal activities immediately after the procedure. However the recovery period may last 1 week to 10 days depending on your skin type and the procedure that was performed.
How long does the procedure take?

Normally it takes 1 hour per item. However, it also depends on client’s tolerance.
How soon can I go out?

Immediately! The color may appear a little darker than usual for the first few days. And there may be a slight crusting that will hardly be noticeable.
What is the healing period like?

On the second day after the procedure a light crust will form which will fall off in a few days. During this time the pigment area may look darker than the applied color. Once the crust flakes off it is common for the color to lighten by up to 20-30%.
